Polymite is available in packing of 200
ml, 1 Liters, 5 Liters and 20 Liters.
Polymite is
an antitermite admixture for cement and soil constructions. It is not an
insecticide, it keeps the termite away by creating impervious layers.
Totally chloride free, it is an initial setting retarder and high early and
final strength giving compound. Polymite is
a wonder product. It has all qualities of Polycrete
and is an effective antitermite agent.
USES AND DOSAGES
1. For
Cement and lime constructions:
-
Use 0.5% solution of Polymite (500 ml in 100 liters of water) for
saturating the construction site as follows:
-
This process should be done for 3 consecutive days at 24 hour interval.
-
Use 0.5% solution of Polymite (200 ml per 50 kg bag of cement or 50 kg
lime) for basement floors, Plain Cement Concrete for floors, masonry, plaster
on outer surfaces of walls.
-
Use 0.5% solution of Polymite (200 ml per 50 kg bag of cement) for damp proof
coat (DPC). M-20 grade of concrete with 1: 1.5 :3 ratio is recommended for DPC.
-
Use 10% solution of Polymite (100 ml in 1 liter of water) for saturating the
interfacing surfaces of wood and masonry/ concrete for wooden fixtures like
door, window and ventilator frames, cupboards, etc.
2. For
lawns and parks:
3. For terrace gardens, kitchen gardens, agricultural fields:
4.
For termite infected plants or trees:
-
Use 0.5% solution (500 ml. in 100 liters of water) for saturating
the roots. Termite infected trunks, branches and leaves should be sprayed with
the same solution on 3 consecutive days. With Polymite treatment, the plants
become healthy and grow faster.
5.
For highly termite infected housing sites:
-
Holes measuring 75 mm in diameter, 1 meter deep, 1 meter center to center
in both directions on the entire construction site should be made and saturated
with 1 % solution of Polymite (1 liter in 100 liters of water) on 3 consecutive
days.
6. For existing housing sites
infected with termites:
-
Holes measuring 5 mm in diameter, 25 mm deep, 250 mm center to center
in both directions on the entire termite affected area such as walls, wooden
cupboards embedded in walls and wood-wall interfaces should be made and saturated
with 10 % solution of Polymite (1 liter in 10 liters of water) by means of
syringes on 3 consecutive days.

Make a Test Yourself
-
Make
a hole of 75 mm diameter, 1 meter deep in a termite infested land. Saturate with
1% solution of Polymite (1 liter in 100 liters of water) on 3 consecutive days.
Treat the dug up earth similarly.
-
Make another
hole of same dimensions. Keep it without any treatment.
-
Put separate
wooden or bamboo elements in both holes and fill them with corresponding dug
earth.
-
Watch the
results yourself after any amount of time.
